It was a long-time aspiration of mine 

to write and illustrate a book for children. Finally, I decided to self-publish using KDP. "New here, neighbour?" is a simple rhyming story about a boy moving from abroad to a new town, next door to a boy his age. Both 

are curious about each other, they notice 

that they look, speak differently and have different habits. However, quite quickly they find many similarities and become friends. 

I wanted the illustrations to be simple, almost a bit clumsy, to appeal to the younger readers.
